Welcome to Gaskins Cabin Steak House, an authentic log cabin, in 1864
by one of Eureka Springs' first settlers -- the well known bear hunter,
John Gaskins. It was here that he, his wife Susan Scott Gaskins and
his 11 children lived.
Now, 140 years later, Gaskins Cabin is the oldest standing property in Carroll County, and it is still a gathering place.
Patrick Crawford and Jerry Rude are the proprietors of this cozy 76-seat restaurant. We share a desire to carry out the Gaskin family legacy - to host a comfortable inviting place for guests to dine on delicious food and drink excellent wine while relaxing in front of the wood burning fireplace and sharing treasured moments - just like in the cabin's beginning years.
In order to keep your dining experience with us fresh, our menu changes seasonally so we can bring you new ideas from our kitchen. However, our well loved Prime Rib, Aged Steaks, and some other Cabin favorites remain constant. In addition to our regular menu we offer weekday and weekend specials including our ever popular Prime Rib Wednesdays and weekend specials.
The restaurant is located at 2883 Hwy 23 North and is open for dinner 5 - 9 pm Wednesday thru Saturday and 5 - 8 pm on Sunday. Call for Winter Hours in December, January, and February. Reservations will be taken for New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. For more information, call 479-253-5466
