Wow! The calendar is nearly full this month. Lots of things to do in Eureka Springs in May, starting with the May Festival of Arts. The whole town gets into the spirit and gets their creative juices flowing. Don’t miss the Saturday Art Gallery Strolls, the Arts and Crafts at Pine Mountain Village, White Street Walk, Books in Bloom and more!

May starts the season for Car Shows too! If you love cars, don’t miss the Miatas, Mustangs and Camaros on different weekends this month.

Don’t forget, the Great Passion Play is performed on the weekends in May . The schedule will expand to Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays as the season continues. Spread the word that the Great Passion Play is OPEN. You can purchase your tickets through us for your convenience.

1 package devil’s food cake mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 can chocolate frosting

Prepare and bake cake according to package directions, using a greased 9×13 baking pan.

In a small bowl, combine peanut butter and oil until smooth, spread over warm cake. Cool completely on a wire rack.

In a microwave, heat frosting on high for 25-30 seconds or until pourable; stir until smooth. Carefully pour and spread over peanut butter layer. Let stand until set. Serve.

3rd Annual Spring Arts & Craft Show at the Village Pine Mountain from 9am-5pm.

May 12
John Two Hawks’ Mothers Day Concert at the Auditorium. 2 p.m. Moms get in free to this concert which features selections from John-Two Hawks’ music. The show, meant to honor mothers, is always a moving experience.

May 16-19
Miatas in the Ozarks.Miatas in the Ozarks is sponsored by the the NW Arkansas Miata Club and is a car rally for Miata enthusiasts. There are scheduled drives, tours and entertainment. Poetluck is a potluck dinner and literary salon held the third Thursday of every month, March-October at ; Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow in Eureka Springs.

The 23rd annual White Street Walk from 4pm-10pm. 4 until 10 p.m. Historic White Street is the working address of several local artists who will welcome the public into homes and studios to view their latest works. They are joined by more than forty guest artists from the Eureka Springs area, who will show weaving, watercolors, jewelry, oils, pottery, stained glass and more.

19th Annual Mustang Show. The Eureka Springs Mustang Show is the only car show in the Ozarks dedicated exclusively to America’s favorite pony car, the Ford Mustang.
